I am hoping that I can ask about this, but please delete if not. I am 18 months post treatment for hormone positive breast cancer stage 1. I had a lumpectomy followed by radiotherapy which finished in November 2019. I am no longer under the care of the radio-oncologist and see the surgeon six monthly. I am on femera from…

back on the bike
So three years ago before BC diagnose I would ride my push bike for leisure. Nothing too strenuous. If hubby wanted to go further I would just pop the motor on (I am a cheater). BC hit followed by chemo followed by vertigo. No bike riding. Today I hopped back on for a 5 km ride. One km in and my tail bone ached. I pushed…

Ongoing nausea 9 weeks after chemo
Hi all, I hope someone can reassure me. I had a lot of nausea with chemo and am still sick 9 weeks later. My doctors say my insides just need to heal. Can this be right? Have been on Maxalon and Ondansetron for months with little effect. Can hardly eat, living on Sustagen drinks. Feeling quite low.

A friend shared this article with me today, by the great American writer Barbara Ehrenreich. It’s about 10 years old but I found it really interesting, and am so curious to hear thoughts from the wonderful minds here on this forum. Especially those of you who have been in this world for a little while longer than me. Even…

Taking the next step - buying prothesis
Hi, I haven't posted for a number of months as I have been settling in to my new life with no breasts and trying to get my energy levels back. I had a bilateral mastectomy in February last year and spent chemo and my 60th birthday in lockdown. I am now on Letrozel for 5 years but otherwise life is more or less back to…

Eyelash growth
Hi everyone I'm happy to see that I am getting little black spikes that I hope will grow back as eyelashes after chemo. Did anyone have any success using eye lash serums or I just need to be patient for them to grow naturally. Cheers

Need for Lyphodema Arm sleeves
I don't actually know who needs these sleeves. Is it potentially anyone who has had a Mastectomy? Or only those who had axillary clearance? I've had both. I have been measured for Lyphodaema with the SOZO machine, and do not have it yet, 11 months after surgery. Has anyone else been recommended to get one, especially for…
