Friday Funnies
So in an effort to begin the weekend with a smile I thought I'd post a picture of something I saw in an antique shop recently. Never mind about all the rest, when is THIS going to be listed on the PBS?! And on the reverse:

This is for members who actively CARE for friends or relatives, too. It seems they are making MORE changes (after big changes were made last June as well) that you should be…

On Our Walks
A while back there was a lovely thread of sunrises that the early risers among us posted. I loved it, so I thought I'd broaden it to a thread for all the lovely sights we see as we do our slow staggers through chemo, or those walks we take after active treatment has finished and we're trying to get our strength and fitness…

Airport X-ray machines and a prosthesis
Recently had the experience of being pulled aside at an airport after my prosthesis showed up as an anomaly on an xray screening machine. Just before Christmas?
Really BCNA? In the past you have asked community members to monitor the site while the paid staff are on hols. It is, for all support networks,. one of the toughest times of year. Historically the old guard kept watch, even if they were not asked to do it. You've just made that very difficult indeed.
