Ooh, a koala. Now he beats fruit bats! And the little red bird is such a vivid red. Your "girls" look very contented as they cluck their way along the path.

I love the shady nook under the yellow tree. Perfect for morning coffee.2 -
@tigerbeth Stunning!
My garden is a post-reno, BC interrupted wreck so for now I focus on my balcony.
I love this new petunia, called Night Sky.
The dog enjoys the balcony as well!

You're all making me jealous - 18 months of living in the burbs, no time (and less inclination) when we moved back to do much, then bc - garden is a wreck!1

Taken from a distance, it doesn't look too bad! The bottlebrush is outside the back door and is way too big and messy when it's in full flower but it looks stunning when it is and the birds love it.
(The hoses are because it's our last weekend for burning off ahead of the fire season.)14 -
Hello @Sister
The bottlebrush is beautiful. They grow up here but do not flower as prolifically as yours - the humidity knocks them around (knocks me around too!).
I love lots of trees. They are strong, are resilient and give beauty to the environment (bit like us, really).

Mrs Kookaburra - either genetically programmed to bring in the washing or offering a not so subtle commentary on my choice of garden whimsy.15

Oh gosh, all your gorgeous gardens put my little one to shame. In my defense, I've only lived here 2 years and this garden was purely large trees when I moved in. I was planning on pulling out the eggplants today, but its a bit hot atm. My little lemon tree is growing sideways because the neighbours trees blocked the sun ... until he cut some branches for me
Consider these "before" photos haha
