So 2 years ago we were seeing my daughter off at Melbourne Airport I had a not so fun experience going through the Airport Security wearing a Breast Prothesis which I have previously posted about.
2 weeks ago we flew Interstate for a mini break. I was terrified of the potential same experience. This time I had a letter from my doctor saying I have a Breast Prothesis in place due to a past history of breast cancer. I had my letter in my hand to tell the staff so I didnt have the same experience. I told man who directed me to the entrance of the security line. He said tell the staff before you go through the security xray machine. A female staff member was called over. She says.. "Whats the problem" and I thought oh God here we go again. But she was fine and I stood on the xray machine and I was good to go. This was such a huge relief. I still had to tell 3 people but I wasnt letting go of my letter.
Then coming home from Interstate I wasnt able to show my letter to the staff I had to put it in the box that went through the scanner. I told the staff member and she was fine and said all was good. I had so much stress leading up to that moment.

Glad it all went ok @Locksley
Not exactly on point but years ago ( pre BC ) I
set off the airport scanner in Istanbul and the female staffer grabbed my ( underwire) bra and said “ it’s this” triumphantly .
I had quite large breasts at the time ( E cup).
She waved me through and I took my bra temporarily off for the trip back home through the airport .3
