Radiotherapy burns
Hi everyone. I’m new here & wondering if someone has gone through something similar. I was diagnosed with grade 1 breast cancer & had a lumpectomy in June 2024. I finished 15 sessions of radiotherapy two & a half weeks ago. I’m quite shocked how severe my burns are near my arm pit. The burns peaked around 5 days ago. I’ve…

He is flagging the idea of a mastectomy as I appear to have 2 lumps in my breast, and he wants me to think about reconstruction surgery. I only have little breast (size B) so I don't see the value in monetary terms to get a…

Hey everyone, 1st time posting and maybe a bit of a dumb question but... I am having a seed marker popped into cancer next Monday 26/08. Hi all. I am about to start chemotherapy next week, fortnightly for 8 weeks and then weekly for 12. There is SOOOOOOOOOO much out there about what it will be like, what the side effects will be, what to expect... but then it is also so much to navigate when one's head is already full! I was wondering if anyone had some…

Tamoxifen
I am 61 years old and I am wondering whether there is an alternative drug with little to no side effects. The tumor I have is in the axilla and is estrogen positive 11-33%. No progesterone has been detected in the cancer.
