I am 61 years old and I am wondering whether there is an alternative drug with little to no side effects. The tumor I have is in the axilla and is estrogen positive 11-33%. No progesterone has been detected in the cancer.

Dear Chrisnsw,
Almost all of these drugs have common side effects. It is very individual as to how we are affected. Most side effect relate to becoming further deficient in Estrogen. The link above may explain this. I would discuss this with your Oncologist. After discussing, they may be able to try you on another drug in the category.0 -
