Using 'the oil' for Exemestane side effects
Hi there, I'm curious to hear from people who've been using 'the oil' to treat side effects of hormone therapy. I've noticed people don't say the actual name of it, assuming it gets flagged?! To cut my long story short... Diagnosed in June, mastectomy in July, radiotherapy in August/September, and then started hormone…

Tamoxifen
Hi everyone. As everyone was so helpful with my radiation burns post, I thought I’d ask another question. I started Tamoxifen 4 days ago and I’ve just started spotting. Is this normal? I remember my oncologist talking about looking out for vaginal bleeding but i didn’t expect spotting so quickly. I thought she met in a few…

Abemaciclib
Hi all, I started taking abemaciclib a few days ago, and I have a few questions. Do you dispense the tablet from the blister pack into a little cup and take it (I've been given some)? Also, what do you do when you go out? I'm not always going to be at home when I need to take it, and it's going to be a real pain carrying…

Very dry eyes
Hi everyone, since I've started treatment (chemo, radiation and hormone blockers) I've been suffering with super dry eyes, and while they've improved slightly since I finished chemo in May, it's only a slight improvement. Has anyone had the same issue? I'm going to see my optician again, but I'd be interested to know if…

I had three nights in hospital and was discharged on Sunday, and every day has felt like a battle with these dressings. It's a system called Prevena that puts a foam layer over the sutures, and then a plastic…
