Anyone on Halaven?
My onc wants me to start Halaven soon but he says it is quite expensive even for an invalid pensioner. He mentioned $900 for the first injection? and then it is free. Anyone know any more about accessing this drug.

Radiation therapy vs nail insertion
Hi everyone, saw the orthopaedic doctors today for my follow up and check on my humerus. The ct shows a mixed lesion right up in the ball of the shoulder. I can either have a nail insertion or have radiation treatment in it. I'm more nervous about having radiotherapy than having a nail done. So my question is what's…

My illness is terminal but treatable and I still have a very good quality of life. I now accept cancer as part of my being. It has certainly affected me physically and mentally. During my…

Bone Pain
Just wondering what pain relief people use for bone pain. I have a met in my scapula on my right side which is also my mastectomy side and the same side as some lymph tumours that have recently received rads. Its starting to give me a fair bit of pain but I don't want strong S4 or S8 pain killers.
