Not just all dress up in pink and high tea for the ladies, they interviewed brave Anna whose story is so similar to yours and mine. They hope to raise $380,000 to provide Breast Care Nurses throughout Australia. Just think, millions of…

Day 37 Well it seems I spent way longer under the radar than expected! Damn you chemo side effects!!!.. Ringing in my ears is the "it is a relatively easy chemo to tolerate". Well I am hoping that in the next couple of cycles that we can 'tweak' it and sort it out to be exactly that. I am certainly grateful that even…

Christmas has always been a joyous time for me and even though I have to go to work, I'm reminded how lucky I am that I am well enough to get up and go to work. I work in the community as a carer and every day I'm reminded how well Iam, even if I feel like…

The journey just got longer.
Hello, My first post, not sure how to start. Last Tuesday I had breast conserving surgery with a sentinel node biopsy of the right breast. It was a long day, but I came out of it well and was allowed to go home that afternoon. I was fortunate to have no pain only tiredness and slight dizziness for 4 days. I recovered very…

Early Christmas present
Early Christmas present, the Dr drained 200ml of serum from my armpit this morning and it is Heaven! He wouldn’t do it last week and it burst by itself from the drain hole that hadn’t quite closed yet. I was booked in for an ultrasound to check all my veins and stuff in my arm after surgery to make sure the pain wasn’t…
