Newly diagnosed + pre existing mental health
Hello all I was diagnosed in December, had surgery 3 weeks ago, and I am waiting for my oncology appointments to see what the next steps are. I suffer from significant mental health issues, and was wondering what people did to cope with the massive news and treatments and the uncertainty Thanks 😊Â

Surviving the DIEP dive!
I’m now 3 weeks post op after a double mastectomy and DIEP reconstruction! It’s been a big recovery and I’ve still a way to go! I had my second BC diagnosis last June - same breast as 2007. I had another lumpectomy at the time as I couldn’t deal with having a mastectomy- my surgeon was very kind to me! My first cancer was…

Recent diagnosis

I just couldn’t bring myself to do so. I have two small grade 1 cancers that were picked up in my routine mammogram. No…

But now 5wks on it's…

Food question
I'm a bit confused about food and what I can and can't eat. I know I need to avoid raw/undercooked meat and fish, deli meat and soft cheese, wash fruit and salad. But does cottage cheese and spreadable cheese fall into that category? Is couscous ok if I make it myself? I miss meredith goats cheese 😔 My taste buds are…

Preventative surgery
Hello. I am 62 years old. I have a very strong family history of breast cancer. My mum died at 63. Is there anyone who has either had a double mastectomy as a preventative measure? I’m seriously considering it at the moment. I am done with the anxiety after every mammogram waiting for the call to say there is a…
