Exercise for the fatigued!
Hi everyone, This is my first time on this blog and I'm hoping for some advice. Whilst I am recovering from my 6th chemo treatment I am keen to get some energy back by doing some gentle exercise but I'm not sure where to start. I've asked palliative care if they are aware of subsidised exercise for those who are still week…

Accupunture
Hi ladies, can anyone tell me if they have tried accupunture for relief of hot flushes? My oncologist recommended it as an option to try before using other medications. I am well and truly over these hot flushes, and am looking to try something different. He said it was also good at helping with sleep. Love Chris xx

Greatful!
Hi all, It's now 11 days after the end of radiation. I have been reading a bit on here and I'm so greatful this website is here. Nearly constantly I keep getting told even though I'm at the end of active treatment "omg you are so brave/strong!" whenever I see anyone who knows what I'm going through. I smile and nod but I…

My coach wanted me to take it further, but I quickly became bored with training sessions and left the squad. As an adult I’ve been a sporadic lap swimmer, but could keep up a strong…

Travel as a diversion
It is amazing how much you can be uplifted just by getting away, be it for a weekend, an afternoon or a few weeks. Have a cold
So I have a cold. It is a year since I finished chemo so it is of no special importance to have a cold now. But, it is the first time I have been sick since I had cancer. I don't know quite why, but it is weird and I feel quite bothered. I guess it is because I have gradually getting stronger and fitter and I feel scared…
