Good news from the surgeon
I finally got my results back from my masectomy (three weeks took ages) and had some good news, I had a 5cm area of high grade dcis and 1 1/2cm stage one low grade and all the other scattered areas were still calcification and my 2 sentinel nodes were clear so I won't need chemo or radiotherapy

How long until BRCA test results?
I was recently diagnosed with synchronous bilateral IDC both grade 1 with no lymph node involvement. Yippee - surgery all done last Friday, new larger puppies are coming home to the farm with me and with a flat tum. Chemo & Rads all done from April to Sept. Finding a Bra that fits one breast
I had no idea it would be this hard to find a bra that fits my remaining right breast & doesn't hurt the scar area on the other side. 1st Chemo and scalp cooling
Tomorrow I have my first (of 4) cycles of AC chemo. i know everyone reacts differently but was wondering when the side effects generally kick in? I am hoping to work throughout treatment. also did anyone do the scalp cooling cap? I'm not sure I can handle being that cold! thanks ladies x
