Today I went and met the cancer nurse in the cancer ward of my hospital, she is a lovely lady whos' daughter had breast cancer., and she gives good hugs, it was nice just having someone listen and acknowledge my fears of what lays ahead. I came out of the meeting with a lot of information, which is a good thing, although…

Christmas
It's hard to get enthused about Christmas this year. The whole shopping bit is too daunting while on chemo - I think vouchers and hampers will do the trick this year. Fortunately we live in an area where wine and home produced goods are bountiful and so I will not have to travel too far. Ironically I swapped my Xmas turn…

I went back into the office for the first time for 4 weeks on Monday - I have been doing some lesser amounts of work from home. My partner and I just moved to a really cool location just three weeks ago. In Jervis Bay...it's beautiful. We are super close to the Basin waters where the fishing is apparently fabulous. Not that I'm the fishing type. Sitting still for a long period of time hanging on to a rod isn't really my thing, I don't find it…

This morning BrissieLyn and I met up again for coffee. It is so good to chat with someone who understands exactly what you are thinking.
