Well meaning..but not helpful (for me)
I've recently been diagnosed. I let the initial shock subside and embraced that part of my brain & personality which is about process and planning rather than panic. So lots of information gathering, talking with close friends and contemplating available choices & options. At this point I am sure of my treatment decision.…

"I don't have time for BC"
Let me start from the beginning... Fri 13th April 2018, a day after I turned 35 years old. As I was getting ready for work, I felt a strange lump on my right breast and it was painful to touch. Initially, I thought it was muscle soreness from training at the gym. But something was telling me it was not - the lump felt…

DCIS low grade
Hi everyone I’m 37 and was recently diagnosed with DCIs after first being told it was atypical ductal hyperplasia from the initial biopsy. I have a meeting with surgeon next week but the lesion has already been removed and he told me it has clear margins. I have three children. Whilst I understand this is very early…

Hi just found this site - and have been reading everyones experiences for the last hour! I was diagnosed yesterday, and am still coming to terms with all of this. Had to cancel our holidays, and I guess I won't be playing golf for a bit. I'll keep reading everyones journeys and hopefully get some idea of whats ahead. Cheers
