5 years today since my surgery ....
Celebrating my 5 year anniversary (today) since my surgery .... This would be the first year that I didn't 'remember' my 5 year 'diagnosis date' of January 5 as well! Up til 'that' phone call, I'd still convinced myself it was just cysts ..... LOTS of water under the bridge since then - and many thanks to those on BCNA…

The last treatment and feeling cut loose and lost
I had my last treatment on the 30th of December which in my mind was supposed to be the happiest day after a long road with bc. Newly diagnosed DCIS
I was actually diagnosed with high grade DCIS in the right breast only about 6 weeks ago. Wasn’t aware if this network discussion until recently. Wish I had known earlier. Had a lot of decisions to make and everything was so overwhelming. Was told I needed to have a full mastectomy done. I couldn’t decide on whether to go…

Interesting article on Keto Diet, specifically re Breast Cancer
A friend was interested in trying a Keto diet (high fat, low carb) & its relevance, specifically, to Breast Cancer - and whether it would even be 'safe' to do so ....... She asked her Onc if it was OK to try. Onc said FINE. So far, she has lost 5kg and feeling much better in herself - she was diagnosed Stage 4 a few years…
