hormone blockers and plantar fasciitis
Hi Everyone, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in Oct 2020 and have been on Letrozole ever since. About 6 months ago I developed plantar fasciitis and my holistic Dr told me that it was unlikely to get better due to the hormone blockers. Has anyone in my position healed from a soft tissue injury like plantar…

Hi there, I'm new to this community...and the cancer journey. I am a 39yo school teacher with two beautiful young children (4 and 2yo). New lump found
hi I am new to the community, I have just spent the last 13 months undergoing bilateral mastectomy, chemo and radiation for DCIs, IDC and IMC. Yesterday I got news that a lump was detected on my left side and have opted for a biopsy to check if it’s sinister. I’m praying it’s scar tissue but…. I’m just wondering if anyone…

Non-alcoholic drinks that are not gross? 😄
Hi folks - Thought it might be good to revive this topic pre-festive season. 🎄 🤶 Anyone have recommendations for non-alcoholic beers and wines? I've only tried non-alcoholic beers, as they seem to better mimic real beer. I quite like Heaps Normal - Peroni Nastro Azzurro is OK, and not a fan of Carlton Zero, Heineken Zero…

Newly diagnosed
Hi there, I've recently been diagnosed with stage 2. I'm rather stressed that I haven't been able to get in sooner to see a specialist. It'll be a month from diagnosis to appointment. I've read of so many of you seeing someone within the week. Is this the difference between public and private?

EC or AC Does anyone know the difference?
My Chemo in 2020 was EC x4, and Paclitaxol x 12. EC stands for Epirubicin and Cyclophosphamide. Does anyone know the difference between EC and AC? My belief is that they are very similar.

Perjeta/ Trastuzumab thoughts
Hi lovelies, I will start chemo soon. Perjeta as part of second part of my chemo is additional cost and not essential, what are your thoughts or experience on it? I am most likely going to go ahead and pay for it but would love to hear from other experience or point of view.
