Radiation therapy and support groups
Hi, I start 3 weeks of radiation therapy this coming Tuesday. I'm feeling good, exercising and (trying) to eat well although still not a big fan of tofu and the odd deserts still creep in! And, I'm being as positive as possible. I have been reading a lot of the radiation discussions here which have been really helpful.…

Kisqali, blood tests and scans
I just started on Fulvestrant and Kisqali. First round of Kisqali at 600mg. Bloods show liver enzymes up so oncologist dropped to 400mgs for second round. Oncologist said my blood tests are ineffective at showing tumour markers and this happens sometimes and it's just unlucky for me and one of those unusable things. So the…

Both ER+ and HER2+
Wondering if anyone also has this combo. Mine is in the left breast and feeling like I got the short straw as there will be so many treatments, noting more as each responds differently. Please only respond if you have this combo as its fairly new, I'm very fragile and not doing well with people offering their empathy when…

Reconstruction not what I was told to expect.
I’m near the end after a double mastectomy 2 and a half years ago with failed reconstruction. 10 operations later and I have died flap reconstruction 4 or 5 rounds of fat grafting (I’ve lost count), two lots of silicon implants and I don’t look normal at all. My upper chest is lumpy and concave and looks a bit like I’ve…
