Finally finished!
Finally finished and happy with the result. 6 years, 9 operations, 3 surgeons. Double mastectomy, 1 failed reconstruction, Lat Dorsi transfer and a second reconstruction after all the badly burned skin from radiation was removed. They look fabulous in clothes.

I thought I was doing okay
I thought I was doing okay. Finished treatment in April. Now part of the short grey hair brigade-hair has grown back grey and wirey so growing some length is not an option unless I want to look like 'the Doc' from Back to the future. Back at work. It has taken the better part of 6 months to get my head around it all,…

Wondering about Palbociclib negotiations.
Hi everyone, I'm on a trial of Palbociclib and Letrozole, which is great because I'm fortunate enough to have free access to Palbo. However, since Ribociclib was accepted onto the PBS but Pfizer rejected the Government's price on Palbociclib, I haven't heard anything about whether negotiations are ongoing or what the…

Muscle expander
Hi I just had my second lot of saline inserted in my muscle expander yesterday (wow it can be hard to breath the first night and next day) but tonight I feel an itch but my skin is numb so I can’t scratch it. It’s so frustrating. Does this happen often and does the feeling come back. I’ve tried a heat pack and a cold pack…
