Art Therapy
Does anyone know if there is anywhere we can access Art Therapy (I am in Melbourne)? I have just had surgery and am recovering atm before beginning radiation. I would love to do some art therapy as part of my recovery, but can’t really afford it with all the medical bills and not working.

Scar Tissue
Hello Members, I am new here. I had bc in my left breast in 2018. After 18 rounds of radiation I was all clear. I am just wondering whether anyone else here has pain that radiates from under their ribs up to under their breast. This started for me about 8 months after radiation with just a stabbing pain in my upper belly…

Confirmed diagnosis - Hi all
Hi, I’ve just been diagnosed with an invasive ductal carcinoma 19mm plus multiple smaller sites that may/may not be malignant. It’s Her2 IHC negative and er/pr positive. It has focal lobular growth pattern (no idea what that means). I’m told this is a good outcome. I have very busy breast so they also discussed bilateral…

Awaiting formal confirmation - terrified
Hi, I was called back last week for a biopsy of my right breast. The Drs said it was highly suspicious of cancer. At the time I was totally flawed and didn’t take anything in after that. Now I have so many questions having read lots of forums. I just wondered if anyone knows the answers. I’ve seen a lot of people saying…

Hair - what did you do?
Hi all - I am almost a year post chemo and am wondering what to do with my hair. It has come back dark and curly (and a bit mullet like). I am thinking of trying to grow it into a bob and then shoulder length. I think dark hair looks a bit harsh on me and would like to dye it with bits of blonde (hopefully less toxic dye…

Cold Capping and hair loss experience with TC chemo
I went for my first TC chemo session with cold capping on a Paxman. I've got wavy coarse hair, that's not particularly thick. Conditioner and water was applied with a focus on the top of the head. I was expecting a brain freeze but came nowhere near that in the 2.5 hours of the cold capping. I'm a skier so I'm comparing it…

Tamoxifen
Well woo hoo is what I say! I had seen on the news last weekend that some drugs had been reduced in their end price to us the patients. Well to my surprise I needed to pick up my next pack of Tamoxifen (Sandoz brand) and instead of the usual $38.50 today's price was $19.50!! Woo hoo!! I hope that translates to other drugs…

Is My Journey still working or has it been cancelled
Has the My Journey website and app been cancelled? I just tried logging in via https://onlinenetwork.bcna.org.au/ with no success. I can no longer find it on the Google Playstore.

Not sure where to turn for advice
Having been recently diagnosed with a 7.7cm tumour in my B-cup breast (luminal A, invasive ductal carcinoma) and no detectable tumours elsewhere, I've been scheduled for a mastectomy next week, followed by radiation, and possibly chemo, age 43. I don't want to have a mastectomy or subsequent treatment, for a number of…
