Blueberries are on special. I have low BP but I won’t let that stop me from indulging.

@SoldierCrab Well Baileys hasn’t worked but hey, you, my forum sister recommends it so I may as well persevere and keep trying. Maybe I should up the dose?

200gm of blueberries a day. At about $4 for 125gms that's screwed my weekly wine and gym budget. Can I rub some kale on it instead?

Sorry in advance to those who've posted recently - but the talk of pillows, booze and blueberries has prompted my wicked sense of humour to 'see' some zany cartoons - sadly I don't draw - Zoffliel I can see you in gym gear holding wine in one hand, blueberries in the other (like weights) and a 'thought balloon' with kale. An Edna Everage expression on your face. Thanks for making my day! Priceless!

Frozen blueberries are cheaper and as effective - not the same texture, of course - but all the vitamins.

SO sorry to hear your ticker went ballistic again .... how frightening.  I hope they can get an ablasion orfanised or whatever else it needs to settle it down xx

I am dreading losing my pillow @Sister .  It is almost a non pillow it is so thin.  Most bought ones are way too high for me and i dont like soft floppy feather ones either!!  Like baby bear. .. it needs to be 'just right'!

Is blueberry wine a 'thing'? If it's less than $6 a bottle more than Aldihol, it could solve a few problems....  I'm not sure increasing my cake consumption is a good idea but, hey,  if it's going to save me from stroking out maybe I should consider it?

@Flaneuse And how do you feel about missing it, good or bad?

@kmakm In the end it doesn't matter. I'm more concerned about marking off the days on the calendar (9 more) until I see the surgeon. But also, before then, I'll have my year 1 right breast tomosynthesis and ultrasound on 28th.

If it's more your thing @zoffiel, you can get blueberry maple syrup - I'm sure that it has all of the same nutrients!  Are raspberries good for anything - I do love them but can't usually justify the price (under $4 a punnet at Aldi at present).

My normal BP is on the low side, anyway.  I can sometimes hear the pounding when I'm standing if I concentrate but it's when I'm laying down that it really makes it's presence felt.

We had visitors last night which was a good thing because I felt like socialising for a change. I made a lovely dinner and dessert, both of which I enjoyed eating. Wrong move. Sugar before bed is a no no.
1am woke up, went to toilet, then laid back down. Head racing with random thoughts
    2am head still racing,
2:30 hot flush and head still all over the place, sat up for a bit
3:30 lay back down, feeling very tired
4am racing racing racing 💤 finally
6am hubby wakes me with a cuppa
Run errands, doctor for MH plan, then home again
I wonder if I will manage to stay awake today
