@Blossom1961 Don't even try! When you've had a night like that you have to rest. Do what your body tells you. K xox

@kmakm My lovely husband rang just as I was about to nod off. He wanted to know if I had gotten a nap in! Wide awake now but I am thinking early night with no dessert after dinner.

Prepare dessert for everyone who wants it, then eat yours ( no more than a half serve) for breakfast. I've been doing that for years. I might look like a V8 but my fuel consumption is more Prius or hybrid. Any unburned fuel goes straight to the back of my legs and eating refined carbs at night is a fast track to relentless thrashing. Make that sugar work for you, put it on your morning oats :)

Ooh @Zoffiel Lemon tart on oats actually sounds quite nice. Hubby just pulled a face at me. He doesn’t even believe in chocolates for brekky at Easter or Christmas. He once told me “you can’t eat that for breakfast” I just kept on eating it!

Lemon tart on oats sound awesome @Blossom1961 Apple pie ( my signature sweet) is sooo bloody good in the morning. There are certain things you would like to indulge in but should not sleep on.
Chocolate pastries for breakfast are common,  but it would be downright destructive to eat them morning and night.

Ooh yes, any sort of pastry for brekky. My favourite is almond croissant.

@Sister Yep, my Dad did that too, but Mum used to get annoyed with me when he did that, she was too insecure to tell him off. Dad sometimes went out and bought us doughnuts for brekky.

Mum didn't care as far as I know.  He used to take her breakfast in bed afterwards as she was the only one in the family who didn't do early mornings.

Hoping for a better night’s sleep now I’m through the surgeon’s nine month review. Apparently healing well left boob sits higher and firmer than the right natural boob - loved the way she put that!  When I talked about the nerve tingles and itching I’m told all those things are normal (I was thinking there was something wrong) but all normal - nerves don’t like being disturbed by surgery and these are normal reactions. Said I couldn’t feel the other lumps that had been there, neither could she so I guess we sit tight until the next appointment which will follow my 12 month mammo and u/sound

oh and exhausted for two years will be normal
