Spotted these pics online today - doesn't it look terrific?
Called an Afghan Quilt .... I just love the blue 'contrast' to the white 'patches' .... not that I can 'do them'!

My grandson on the giraffe quilt I made for him. Not sure if his parents realise it’s for his cot not the floor.

Thanks @arpie not my design, I bought a pattern and fabric kit a few years ago in anticipation. I have made a giraffe but it might stay with us for when they visit, but they live in Brisbane & we’re in Melbourne. My daughter made patchwork cake for my birthday a few year ago too.
Very cute biscuits.3 -

I notice a yellow theme on all the pics!! LOVELY cake xx
That might be wise to keep the giraffe for 'home visits' xx0 -
I’m getting there with the new fun time storage area in my new digs. Still a bit of refining to happen. When we get the study/home office back my retreat area will house the sewing table, for the moment thats the home office.

Wow, so talented!
does anyone ever post their paintings or drawings here or is there another site?
I find drawing calms my mind, kind of like meditating.2 -

Look forward to seeing your work, @Cindi!
I did my first attempt at painting last weekend at a friend's 60th 'Sip & Paint' tutorial ..... the art teacher had sketched the whales onto the board, for the correct perspective ..... but all the rest is me! hehe I am no threat to anyone who calls themselves an artist! It was fun!

Oh arpie that looks fabulous! It's such fun isn't it, I love doing art.
I like to do really detailed work, it's very soothing. I get lost in it.
I'll see if I can post a portrait I drew of my cousin's dog I did a couple of months ago, she gave me photos of him, and I copied one of them, he's her support dog as she suffers really bad depression, she's also a breast cancer survivor!6
