Re: Creative Corner!
Thanks @arpie not my design, I bought a pattern and fabric kit a few years ago in anticipation. I have made a giraffe but it might stay with us for when they visit, but they live in Brisbane & we’re in Melbourne. My daughter made patchwork cake for my birthday a few year ago too. Very cute biscuits.12Views2likes0CommentsRe: Magnesium to help combat 'brain fog' on Tamoxifen/AIs? NZ trial suggests YES
That’s interesting @arpie I had my annual oncology appointment recently and said that I felt like I had brain fog which she told me a lot of women on AIs complain about. She said I could have a break if I wanted but I’m more than half way through so I’ll keep on for now. I wish I’d come on here before I went to the appointment but never mind. Last year I saw a registrar and she didn’t believe it as it wasn’t on the information she read on the computer! Told me to see my gp for a memory test.66Views0likes0CommentsRe: Radiation Therapy public vs private
Hi @Clancy I had my radiation done as a public patient at genesiscare at Frankston private hospital, which was my local one. Don’t know about the test you were talking about. I did not have to pay a cent, even for parking as there is some on street parking outside. They were very good there so can recommend them. Hope that helps. X72Views2likes0CommentsRe: Pilates
Thanks @Afraser. I’m on Anastrozole & vitamin D but asked if I should be taking anything else, & she said no. I’d been taking curcumin for another problem and asked if that was ok. She rang the Pharmacy at the hospital to check on it and I got the ok on that. My gp didn’t know if I should be taking the curcumin. The registrar didn’t tell me at 1st that I had osteopenia just started asking me when I’d last been to the dentist without explaining why. I’ve only ever seen my oncologist up till now but am a public patient so don’t have much choice about who I see I suppose. I’ve not heard about taking magnesium for osteopenia or is it for something else?31Views1like0Comments
