Here's a fun way to make a couple of Xmas Decorations .... get the kids & the grandkids to make them too!!!

And such an easy way to run the thread thru the glue bottle .... just tape up the holes & it then becomes a 'regular' glue bottle again ..... but you can still use the holes again for other decorative ideas!!! 😉
arpie. That looks like fun. Obviously a natural dye like ochre and henna I wonder if the are other colourful leaves or petals that would work the same or similar. Not that I have the time to investigate.

If using them to make cards, you need to use a heavy weight Watercolour Paper that artists use.
This one uses a variety of flowers on TShirts like Violoas - the ones with purple on them came up better than the 'plain' coloured ones.

Now THIS looks totally 'doable' ..... cranky_granny Annie_C iserbrown Anne65 Locksley ... check out the lovely top, done by hammering Fern Leaves onto a long sleeved top! Check out her other stuff too!
You can use this method for making decorations on cards & calendars (needs to be Watercolour paper) as well as clothing .... This top is GORGEOUS!You don't have to be 'arty' to create art - check this painting out - it is GORGEOUS & I reckon even I could do it (and I have difficulty even drawing a straight line!!)
Give it a go - turn them into Xmas Presents for the family - just get some along with some paints ... Mont Martre is a popular brand ..... often local 'cheap shops' stock their brand! GIVE IT A GO!!!!

Here's a really cool Dragonfly idea to make with your young kids or Grand Kids .... using a kitchen whisk!! It is VERY colourful!

- you can normally buy from newsagents still if you need these ladies rubber finger caps or officeworks
- I used to use those back when I was doing accounts payable & receivable, @AllyJay!! I used to have to go thru MOUNTAINS of paperwork! How I wish I'd kept a few!! ;)
- @cranky_granny I've got two of those rubber finger caps that bank tellers etc used to use in years gone bye. I put one on my thumb and one on my forefinger to push and then pull through the needle.
- Basically I won in the end just not pretty
