Beacon meltdown?
Is it just me, or my computer? But the current issue is almost unreadable, with lots of substituted gobbledygook! Clearly a technical issue, but please fix it up!

Six years all clear since recurrence :)

I am forever grateful to my medical team,…

4 years.
Four years ago, the 12th of May was Mother's Day. The previous week had been probably the most challenging of my life but was nothing to what I would go through in the coming months. On the previous Monday I had been called in to see my GP (ahead of my scheduled appointment for later that week) to be told that my mammogram…

What makes you have a reconstruction?
I had a mastectomy done and didn't choose implant or reconstruction as I had wanted to get into surgery quickly before Xmas. Chemo and Radiation finished
I read with interest the discussions, rants etc that are put up for discussion and they make me realise how lucky I am with my journey so far. My cancer was found through a mammogram, and was deep so the doctors and nurses could not feel it. (How lucky was I, it could have been ages before I felt it.) I had a lumpectomy on…

Waiting
Hi ladies I hope you are all doing OK. I said I would let you all know how things were going. Well I went and seen a GP I use to go to and she said she wants me to go to a breast clinic at the gold coast. She thinks it could be a blocked milk duct but said discharge from one breast is strange. So she wants it checked and…
