@jennyss thank you! It's been so wonderful to achieve a dream after this path we all found ourselves in. X

Thanks so much, I think it took along time after treatment and surgeries etc before I really started writing again about all sorts of things. Sometimes I still struggle with words a little. There is so little talk of survivorship and living with the effects of all of what we go through. I actually look back in amazement now thinking of in the midst of chemo that I honestly thought I would not make it out of the depths because it was so grueling and so underestimated. 9 years since my 2nd diagnosis and I honestly for the first time say to myself...look what you did kid...YOU...who thought would never make it out you work full time in a challenging role with difficult students and you achieved your dream of your first book. Money can't buy that. Thanks for the support ladies. :)

Finger Knitting was quite popular in the 'old days' .... for making bracelets and Key Fobs (or for any use you'd like to use it with!).  This is a good one to show the Grand Kids!

and another way of doing it ..... with fancy 'turban knot' to tidy it up ....

WOW!  How STUNNING is this?? Who does Stained Glass??  Show us your stuff!

A bicycle wheel turned into a piece of stained glass wonder!!  And using the existing fork as the support - and I bet the wheel still spins in the sun!!!

How cute is this?  If you have any old work boots lying around .... put a hole in the 'points' to let any bird waste/fluid out) and turn them into Bird Boxes!!!

@MelV83 great job. Oh the memories of making Dance costumes though that was 30 years ago. So doing Grease musical is still popular today. The tule and the slippery satin. The makeup and the endless hair styles. Now i just go to the granddaughters concerts so much easier.
