Yes @joannie may be the wait time is different in places , the clinic I went to in Melbourne said surgery was mandatory within 30 days . My surgery happened just inside the 30 day limit which was great .

    Hello everyone
@Leilani had her surgery on Tuesday. She is now home and feeling very sore and uncomfortable. Perhaps others could send her thoughts and wishes for a good recovery and some tips on how to get comfortable.

We are all thinking of you Leilani. Wishing you the best.
Take care and warm Kimberley wishes to you.

Terrible sleeps this week - Tuesday awake we 3am, Wednesday 2.15am and today 1.11am. Weird how your sleep varies from week to week. Last week I had good sleeps.

This is my very first night of poor sleep at five weeks post surgery! I guess I’m lucky it hasn’t been more .

@Leilani .... all the best for your recovery .... take it easy, rest up and hopefully be pampered by family and friends.  Take the pain meds for as long as you need them and I hope you can get some decent sleep!! Xx

I had a great sleep last night .... we went out to dins with my brother and partner and stepson and wife from NZ .... a few vinos may have helped ... slept thru til 6am!!  YAY. ;)

Out again for dinner tonight, then back home tomorrow!

I didn't get much sleep last night as I am in pain still they are worried as I am losing a bit of fluid in one night and I still have both drainage tubes in so they can't take one out yet

That's a bummer @Leilani ... taking the pain meds should help with the sleep and how you feel. Does your breast care nurse know about the leak? Hope the leak fixes itself ... others who had similar may have tips fir you.  All the best xx

@Fletch re. Mouth ulcers. I get ulcers on my tongue and inside cheeks. I now swish around aloe vera juice once a day and it keeps them at bay. Salt water didn't work for me.

Ended up with a very broken night last night so again a lot of snoozing during the day not helped by the bone pain from the neulasta

managed out for a drink and dinner and then went off to sleep ok but here I am awake again all by myself

Still feeling ill sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night - I assume it's a hangover from chemo.  Popped an Ativan at 2am and slept until 6

Howdy, no sleep  for me last night.
Hubby took me to emergency at 1am due to high temp.
I am still in the ED waiting for a bed on the ward !!!!!!!!
Here's the funny bit...... I am in the room for psychos! Its an actual room , more privacy with a door etc. instead of just a bay.
I do feel a little delirious so its probably appropriate!
