So epic failure on cutting down alcohol and chocolate but hell yeah! Who said she can't cook????? Ok technically no cooking involved but it sure looks pretty. Classing this as cooking wine and no low fat boring stuff involved. Merry xmas gorgeous ladies.

G'day howlers. Merry Christmas one and all. Stocking is stuffed, presents wrapped, one dessert and one savoury dish made and I am showered and in bed. I am a tad jetlagged so quite wakeful.

Santa is a creepy judgemental bastard, but but the christmas tipple, Hurdle Creek gin, is delicious (not the Eucalyptus one, that tastes like furniture polish) so all is not lost.
The Chickie and I have been for a walk and the river looks very inviting. I've been up for hours watering the garden; the forecast for the coming week is 37, 38, 41, 40, 39, 43, 39 which is fucking barbaric and I have no idea when it will end. Sigh.5 -
Would you believe I'm the first one awake ( even the 4 y/o and 2 y/ o still asleep) at my son's place. XmAs t-shirt and earrings on . Swam freestyle yay !!!! For the first time in more than a year yesterday arvo. Felt blissful. 6 laps - starting gently. No untoward aches from that this morning. How you all have a peaceful day. Merci mille fois for being my anchor in the past year. Xox3
