@SoldierCrab I LOVE Darwin! Went last year as part of our 3 month road trip. Thought I could live there for sure. although obviously went at the best time of year. So gorgeous and so close to Litchfield and Kakadu....God's Country for sure. I fell in love with all the indigenous history through there. x

@Kiwi Angel - ah Tassie. Enjoy Steph. Relax and rejuvenate. You've been through a lot and celebrate the end of that badass called chemo. x

Okay - I had the chemo and it will continue at this stage unless it is deemed to get to an unsafe level. I've got it worse in one foot but I think I have some pre-existing nerve issues in that area. I'm wearing socks to bed tonight to hopefully stop the toes getting cold and bugging me in the middle of the night.0

Just dreamed about cake. Which is better than dreaming about having to have chemo again, which I did last week. Hot flush woke me up so I used that to launch me out from under the warm doona into the chill of the bathroom.0

Hi there @SoldierCrab and @Kiwi Angel. Hope you both have an awesome time on your holiday! And @Kiwi Angel you’ll just have to make up for the wineries when you get there lol. Rug up love. You’ll be fine nothing a wine or three won’t fix. I’ve always wanted to go to both places as the food and produce is amazing in those regions. There’s a big greek community in Darwin @SoldierCrab so eat plenty of souvlaki! And I hope you get to eat and drink your way through the salamander markets @Kiwi Angel they sound amazing. Big hug. Margie xx

@Sister I have been wearing Sox to bed every night since winter began and has made a difference. If you haven’t tried them and your feet are troubling you Explorer Sox are great - I ‘ve worn them in the snow with terrible boots and they have kept me warm and dry.The supermarkets stock them and sell them half price at times.1

I was awake @onemargie, but Im trying not to turn on the blue light until I decide I'm getting out of bed. I'm a bit seedy tbh, the vegans don't eat lots of stuff, but they will drink anything and everything. Not sure how that stacks up when treating the body like a temple....4

@Sister @romla socks on last night too. I bought myself a couple of those lovely Love Your Sister rainbow striped ones and I have nice fluffy soft bed socks too. Last night hot sweats - I had to rip those rainbow socks off in a hurry my feet felt like they were going to explode! Can't win.....too cold, too hot! *Throws her hands up in the air is despair!*1

Well we certainly haven’t had much sleep this weekend but have had lots of fun in Launceston. Up at 3 on Thursday only to have our flight cancelled due to fog so then up at 3 the next morning to do it all again. Have had the best time though - lots of great food and wine. Hope u all have been keeping those hot flushes under control.10
