Awake since 4 am this morning, but stayed warm in bed for another hour - new jersey sheets - very snuggly.0

Typical! Slept amazing all weekend when I had no plans so could have slept all day. Now that it’s monday and I need to go to work I’ve been up since 3.30! Snoring husband downstairs - crickets chirping upstairs (food for my son’s lizard hahaha). Wishing everyone a fabulous week! Xxxx1

Couldn't cope any more by 7:30pm last night so took myself off to bed. Tamazepam at midnight saw me through to 4am so hopefully today I'll manage a bit better. I'm finding taxol so hard to predict with regards to how I'm going to feel each cycle. Oh well, mid-year exams start today for the eldest so we have to get moving earlier. 7:15am start from home for everyone!0

Oh what a shit of a night!
I think I may have got 2 or 3 hour in there somewhere. Toddled off to bed when hubby went, feeling some obligation to go to bed when he did, even though he was super tired and asleep in a flash and I was not - therefore wide awake and staring at the ceiling.
Then, (not sure if this is the one week on Tamoxifen starting or the warmer night here in Perth because is is raining and cloudy) I had hot sweats all throughout the night. Tossing and turning....
Wow - dismal, but I actually don't have to do ANYTHING today, except cook dinner later on. Charlotte is even at a sleepover (school holidays), so I can try and have a nanna nap later. Going to be a wet old day here too, so could be nice!0 -
Ha! He'd never give me a foot rub! Funnily enough, the other symptoms have kicked in again this week and the neuropathy (so far) has backed off a bit. Mind you, I've got woolly socks on all the time now and the test will be balancing at exercise class this morning. I feel so sorry for my son - 2 exams today, 2 tomorrow and 1 on Wednesday - AND except for English they're all higher level Maths and Sciencey stuff. His anxiety is palpable. What is Year 12 going to be like?!!! I'm feeling your pain @romla.
I hope you have a good day at work @eastmum...bring on the coffee. Sounds like the night for takeaway @JJ700 -
Sister rescue remedy drops in water helps my anxious daughter takes the walking on egg shells edge off.... even now in 3rd year Uni.
Presently in Darwin balmy 25* and no neuropathy.....keep those fluids up and try to rest when you can.

@Sister when things got a bit tough with my eldest I discovered a product called Chill Pill in Coles - basically hops I think -not sure if she used them but point was made.Having an ex Maths teacher for a Mum MAY help ( histrionics not withstanding) and it’s amazing how much I now understand about Physics by reading the textbook - wish I’d done more of that in year 12 myself and they did more of that now.0

I'm a librarian and my husband's a mathematician but we're the last people to be called upon for help!0
