    4.30 for me this morning!

Had my last AC yesterday (woo hoo) but I think I must have gone to sleep too early.

My onc has me taking 8mg of dex the night before my first 2 taxols to minimise the chance of an allergic reaction.

God knows how I’ll be able to sleep those nights!!

    Xxxx

Seriously lovelies @Sister @Kiwi Angel @kmakm @SoldierCrab @JJ70  I’d rather of had drunk round up! It just sucks doesn’t it.  If it’s any reassurance for anyone I don’t get the neuropathy anymore I never had it in my feet just my hands. It stopped altogether almost overnight 9 months after chemo finished along with the hot flushes.

I feel quite spoiled as some still have issues with it all for longer than that but I hope it stops for you all soon. I still get the osteo symptoms and nerve pain on my left mastectomy side where the lymph nodes were taken. I spoke to one of the drs at work the other day and he suggested amitriptyline could help with the nerve pain if I needed to take it.

Not sure if this might be an option for you guys with the neuropathy?? Perhaps something to chat to your medical team about ??  It’s also used as an anti depressant and can help with sleep disturbance also.  But you’d have to make sure it doesn’t contradict with your other meds
/chemo. I would of tried it at the time if it was offered to me Just a thought. Biggest hug to you all. Margie xx

Awake five times overnight with huge, long and sweaty (I'm not normally a sweaty person at all) hot flushes. The Letrozole has really ramped them up.

@KnackeredBefore9am should be my new handle...

@Eastmum - I had my TC on a Monday and I had 8mg of dex twice a day Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and then on Wednesday once a day.  The night before my first chemo I didn't sleep but I think that was a lot of anxiety too after that I didn't find it too bad.

Heres to us all having a good sleep tonight - we are flying to Tassie tomorrow morning and I have to get up at 3.30 anyway so will probably have the best sleep of the week!!

Thanks @kmakm I used to have him four days a week until I got sick, I have missed him dreadfully, I can't wait.
