@Sister Having spent most of the week with my head under the water I am in total admiration of anyone keeping their hair dry. I am serious. You are to be highly admired in my book.

There's been definite sighting of bandicoots around this way.

@Sister I'll get my shotgun. There's been an infestation in my hospital room but I cleared 'em out. Sorry if they've scampered over the border  <3

@Joannie I am doing much better thank you. Looking at the reflection of blue skies in my stark view and then heading out to stand at windows on the opposite side of the floor to see a real view and feel some sunlight on my skin. I am ready to be discharged tomorrow. K xox

@melclarity I know why your user name is what it is - everything you write makes so much sense and brings so much 'clarity' to the converstation. I love 'acceptance of the path' and that's definitely what I think I've done. Your wisdom is so appreciated and so helpful.

I am constantly in awe of every story that I read on these discussions and never think of myself as a 'warrior' in my own right, as I feel I've had it so easy so far compared to so many who have had a Breast Cancer diagnosis on top of a multitude of other 'crappyness' that life has thrown at you - yet you still manage to support other women, look at life with good humour and positivity, share your experiences, thoughts and feelings with such raw emotion, and be an inspiration to all of us every day. @Sister @AllyJay @iserbrown and so many others - I would love to meet you all in real life and give a real hug to you - just to say thank you - now I KNOW that that would get me very teary! And a very special shout out to @cecily who has been incredible to me since day 1 and paid me a very wonderful visit in hospital.

@kmakm - so happy to hear you're doing well today - just like Dorothy said 'there's no place like home' - enjoy your last day in hospital and we' look forward to celebrating with you when you go home tomorrow  Yvette xxxxx

HI THERE @Eastmum , I'm a Sydney girl who lurks around the Hornsby area. If you're ever up my neck of the woods, a cuppa would be great.

@AllyJay goodness you have given us a small insight to what sounds like a crap upbringing.  Thanks for sharing and making me appreciate my life and my family.
Here's hoping the mean cosmic clowns have finished dealing shocking cards and your results from the next Ologists is good news!  We certainly get to know of specialists and terminology that we had no need for or knowledge of prior to this.
Take care and happy click clacking of the needles when you feel like it!

They certainly do @AllyJay, they certainly do. Both are proceding quite nicely today thank you  :)

Reading about your childhood is shocking and I am so sorry that that was your lot. One of my best friends had not dissimilar levels and types of abuse from her father and a very truncated 'childhood'. My admiration for her efforts to distance her adult life from her early years knows no bounds. I sense it would be the same for you. K xox

@kmakm glad to hear u r feeling a little better - bring in hospital for a long time can be a trial in itself, u miss your own bed and having your things around u. Do they know when u might be able to go home??

i think all the women on this site are amazing and for everyone with a diagnosis of any kind it is horrible, scary, shocking, confusing and completely friggin unfair!!  I don’t know what I would of done with it the support and advice of u all. It has made a shitty experience easier and less confusing to navigate and surprisingly provided a lot of laughs. As much as u have the support of friends and family unless u r going through it u don’t really know what it’s like as much as they try to empathise.

    All u ladies rock xoxoxooxoxox

All of you women are amazing , every one of you.  I'm in awe most of the time.  I've also had some laugh out loud moments because you're uplifting also. Those bandicoots ! I'm on guard at the door .  @Sister I hope the bandicoots have left the building. All the best and hugs xxx
