@Kiwi Angel I don't get a hangover from Temazepam I'm happy to say. I cannot believe you are working in your 4th cycle of TC. You are incredible!1

Im having chemo and in my 4th round of AC I realliesed the dex was affecting my sleep so I was allowed to have low dose Zyprexa whcih acts as a antinuaeea drug but it is also and antipsychoitc ( I felt I was havin mood swings, tears and rage on dex ) That helped with my sleep as well as Remifem for hot fu=lushes and then last night when I woke at 2:30 I took ativan which they is asedative used for the cold cap but they also said I could take it occasionally as a sleeper ...so last night I got about 9 hours...Horray hope these ideas might help others.2

@kmakm it’s a very slow day at work - I’m just plodding about doing paperwork. Will take a sleeping tablet tonight if I can’t sleep.0

Made it though my day of work and now home, in bed, about to pop all my pills and hopefully have a decent sleep. I’ll take a temazepam if I’m awake in the morning - the panadine forte I’m about to take should be out of my system by then. @minimum67 my friend had dex rage too but I don’t feel anymore irritated than normal. Did u get Ativan when u did the cold cap at chemo. I took panadol osteo and forgot to take one yesterday before I went.0

I'm procrastinating. I don't want to lie there staring at the ceiling. I don't know why the last few nights have been so difficult in the falling asleep department. I am overly anxious and I don't know why.0

@kmakm I hope you get some sleep soon. My nights are like that even b4 my dx. Everything the day gone and worrying about the day coming. On 3 different meds for depression and anxiety. I hope to help that won't be the kind that will interact with chemo. I'd be lost without endep. Does reading help?0

@TabooGal Sometimes. I'm on Pristiq, went on it mid-chemo. It's worked well for me for the depression so far, but anxiety is still problematic.
Ask your oncologist about your meds asap so that if you have to change you've got time to adjust before chemo begins. Or at least make a start.
I used to get to sleep OK. That went out the window with the callback letter from BreastScreen... It's mostly got better but every two or three weeks I hit a problematic patch. That's life now I suppose. K xox0 -
