Thanks @Zoffiel ...I consider myself the Princess of Pooh...serve it up, and I'll add sauce and swallow it down, but FFS...one spoon at a time, please. It's just that femoral artery bit that's gotten me twitchy today. I had to have a femoral line put in after The Big Chop. before I was rushed back to theatre with a massive bleed. It was mega painful and the medicos were all pretty excited at the time, which sort of freaked me out.

Thanks Kate - I'm so pumped and ready to start - the sooner I start, the sooner I finish. I feel armed with lots of info, yet have no expectations. I'll take each moment/day as it comes and just go with the flow. I bought this notebook today to keep a chemo diary.

@Eastmum Good idea. I was given a chemo kit by a friend which included a notebook and pen (with a haptic tip which proved invaluable towards the end of chemo when my fingers got too sore to use). I kept detailed notes for the first round which I found helpful. Stay floppy my friend. Let us know how you get on. You've got this! K xox1

Thanks for the kind wishes everybody....wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Just pulled my Nanna Panties to high that I spoke like Minnie Mouse after sucking the gas out of a bunch of party balloons though. Now have to wait until I see the neurosurgeon to find out the plan. At least on the Titty Front (or lack thereof) all seems to be well at the moment, so at least there's that. Benn getting a shitload of nocturnal knitting done too, so not all bad. Hope you all have a good night tonight xoxo.
