Pain meds post mastectomy
Hi everyone, I’m 2 weeks post mastectomy and wondering how long you needed your pain meds for? I’m still taking 2 Panadol & 1 Neurofen every 8 hours & still getting pain/tightness in arm/chest is this normal or should the pain be easing off now? I have my follow up appointment with surgeon tomorrow

Hi there, I will be having surgery in a week - lumpectomy and breast reduction in the other breast. I am trying to prepare what I can for not only the surgery but my return home. I have 2 primary age kids who are full of beans and 2 big dogs who love to be lap dogs. I am thinking maybe I need to create a quiet space in my…

Post surgery
Wanted to check in to you guys, post surgery unilateral mastectomy, post surgery day 5. I am recovering quite well, except one bad night at home. I discovered better to sleep in a semi sitting up position in bed, like in hospital as lying flat seemed to add pressure and pain. I wasn't prescribed any stronger pain killers…

Dressing change post mastectomy
Hi everyone, just wondering when you had your wound dressing change after your mastectomy? I was told they’re going to follow it up, which hopefully won’t be too far away…

Stiffness under arm after lumpectomy
Hi everyone I just had lumpectomy on Tuesday. Doing quite well. Minimal bruising on breast. I need advice please - I've been given exercises to do from breast nurses but have stiffness under my arm. I can't do the exercises because it's a bit sore. Should I just push through gently? Can I give it a gentle massage?

Scar Management for anyone finding them taking a long time to heal, red, bumpy, itchy...
Hey All, I just wanted to say in the past I haven't really worried about my scars from surgeries, however since doing my Diep Flap recon in February and subsequent revision surgery in July, I had my abdominal wound reopened. It was red, itchy and bumpy so thought I'd have a consult with people who specialise in scar…
