@JJ70
I have to come to Perth every 6 months. Next clinic visit is December. Seems that all I do is have a clinic visit, go home and save for the next visit. All on an age pension. Telehealth was talked about, however my gp clinic was not in favour. Something to do with the telehealth services at the district hospital and I attend the aboriginal medical centre. It seems every which way there is an obstacle. So Perth in December. Ah well gives my husband and I a chance to go to the movies and some restaurant meals. No wonder we spend a lot of money!

I have also approached my artist friend this morning although haven't heard back at this stage so don't know whether he would be keen.0

What do you think of these? The quality of the upload is awful hahaha the pink is just one colour I swear, and this is vector so it can be changed in pretty much any way. What should I move, what colours should change, do you want a different font... this is my starting point aaaaaaand GO

@Sister
Yes. Tomorrow is the setting up day and taking of entries day. Tomorrow night is judging and Saturday is the presentation of prizes day. My phone camera is primed and ready. So ladies you are warned - there will be 'brag' photos on this forum!
That is, of course, if I am sane and sensible. There are 6 of us (all old good friends of 25 years) who are organising the show at the Sporties Club. There will be at least a glass of good red for lunch and no doubt at least one more at tea! Maybe a few during the afternoon - got to keep the strength up. Funny now that I have got past 1 year I no longer fear that I am going to get cancer again with a glass of red. I still worry though as I nurse a glass for a few hours! However I do believe it is important to enjoy life.
In all I have 9 entries. At the beginning of this year I was so very sad and depressed because of all the changes breast cancer brings to our life that I despaired of ever sitting at the sewing machines again especially as my working arm and hand appeared to have minds of their own. I am now pleased to say the machines are whirring and the iron is smoking! Ah joy and as @Karenhappyquilter says may we quilters keep on quilting or something like that!
Take care ladies and keep watch for the brag photos.
Annie
