@Kiwi Angel Well done! I had a good night too, with the aid of a benzo and two PanadolExtras for my aching legs. Off to the optometrist this morning for my first check in three years. Oncologist said to wait until a month or so after end of chemo. Shall see how my cataracts are going. Not good driving home in the dark last night after radiation - a late appointment. I've asked for an earlier one this afternoon and got it.

@Flaneuse I have been taking 2 panadol osteo before bed for my arthritis and the 10mg melatonin - seems to be working. Good luck with your eyes today - I’ll have to get mine tested again soon - I’m not a fan of night driving at all either. xo

I went to bed at a reasonable time - not 8pm!  Slept until 1:30ish and woke up feeling really sick (like during chemo).  Took an Ativan and went back to sleep until after 5am.  Win!

I had a pretty good nights sleep too apart from at 2.30am I woke to a light streaming through under my door. I got up and the outside door was open. I looked down the stairs and there was hubby, fully dressed, standing with about 6 watering cans all lined up full of water and he was talking openly to the power box! Too early to deal with such a stupid thing. I went back to my bedroom and closed the door with a pair of trackie dacks to block the light under the door. Slept till 8am. :)

I slept like crap last night. Too hot and waaay too many hot flushes. Not having quite so many tonight. Hope that continues for the next 10 hours...

@Brenda5 what an interesting wake up call!!

i definitely think the stronger melatonin is working - went to sleep just before 10, hubby woke me up cause I was snoring (thought I stopped that since I got my nose hairs back!) and then slept right through with vague wake ups till my alarm woke me up at 5am. Feel like my hot flushes are subsiding a little too. Winning!!

@kmakm hope the flushes weren’t too bad and u got a decent nights sleep xo

Sadly not @Kiwi Angel. One of them was so bad it was proceeded by a wave of nausea which was what woke me, that strong feeling that I was about to chuck. The moment I was fully conscious I realised I had a big one coming and about a minute later it hit. So I rode the wave and went to the loo. Sigh.

@kmakm that sucks - I hate the ones that are preceded by nausea - luckily I don’t have too many like that xo

I am not an early riser so when a hot flush wakes me at 6am I try to go back to sleep. It is not working today because there is a kookaburra sitting in the tree outside my bedroom window doing that pre-laughter gurgle noise. Repeatedly. But at random so there's no rhythm to settle into.

And my ankles are really bad this morning.

On the plus side I had a good hair day yesterday so you know, swings and roundabouts...

Thanks @Kiwi Angel. I don't have too many of them either. Revolting.
