@Flaneuse good luck today
i woke at 4:45 got up at 5.50 put washing in the dryer so one would have school clothes and then screw up by washing one of the others sports clothes when they were needed today. That little doozy is going to mean an unscheduled trip. Brain function is somewhat reduced particularly with a lack of sleep in play
going to be a very long day today0 -
Wide awake now but you can bet your bottom dollar that when the alarm goes off I won't be able to open my eyes...

Just woke up from a bad dream, one of those being left behind ones. Usually it's an airport but tonight it was a steam train. And wild pigs were chasing me trying to eat me as well. WT actual F brain?!?!
Rain sounds on. Happy thoughts, happy thoughts...0 -
Morning Howlers.
Scan day....Blah. Guess how much sleep I got? You guys know how it is.
I wonder if the lady that does the MRI will again ask me if I have one breast bigger than the other because she is having trouble getting my bits in the right position. I was a bit rude to her last year when she said that. As if I didn't know. Dumb ass. Obviously the scar wasn't enough to give it away or she just didn't read my notes.
Wild pigs @kmakm ??? Are you sure your only taking Letrozole? LOL.
Seriously though, I have heard Melatonin can give you weird dreams. Something about mucking up REM sleep patterns.

@kezmusc It never ceases to amaze me that people don't at least scan your notes before you come in for a consultation or procedure. On Tuesday for my first day of radiation, as the girl walked me out, she said, "Have you got something in there?" Yes, an expander. "Oh, that's what it is."
Dreams - my daughter gave me some melatonin once when I was at her place and it gave me bad dreams. I get the same thing from anything with valerian in it. I asked the GP the other day about melatonin and when he told me the cost of the prescription stuff he could give, that was the end of it.
@kmakm - wild pigs - creative!

Not on the melatonin at the moment. Taking it for a month seemed to do the trick with resetting my sleep rhythms. Actually meant to ask for more when I saw the GP, it was the reason for the appointment, but I completely forgot to ask... i'm still waking multiple times a night from the hot flushes (or wild pig dreams!) but mostly I'm getting back to sleep OK. I think that like everything else I'll just have to accept that this is my life now. And hope that my body adjusts to the complete absence of oestrogen and turns off the wonky thermostat.0
