Hi Glemmis, sorry to hear of your loss.
How exciting having new additions, I’m sure they will all get on well as these dogs have such a loving beautiful nature.
    Mind you I am bias....

Above Is our Sadie (the lady) from the cat haven (rescue). We love her to bits. I loved seeing all of your special family members.

GORGEOUS @Glemmis - the pup will thrive with his Mum's milk and company!!  Less chance of anxiety separation.   Yes, my buddy is kept busy with her pup, getting him used to weeing & pooing outside - so far, no 'accidents' that I am aware of. She is also introducing him to all her friends, so he doesn't get fixated on her - increasing anxiety separation later on ....

Thanks @arpie, your friend is doing very well with no accidents, we have had a couple but they are such small deposits. Fun days ahead!

I don’t have a pet, but this is me when I do.
