Here you go ..... something the whole family can do .... put together these really neat 'animal' planters!!
One can cut the timber, one can paint it & the other, put them together!! SO many choices of pets, dogs in particular!
They would be a SELL OUT at any craft market ...... they are SO cute!

It's a wintry rainy day here in Melbourne, I love this thread, it gives every one a chance to share their endless creative side. Amazing!!
I wanted to share a couple of pieces of writing I have done
RAIN
The rain
splinters across my window, kindred to my irrepressible thoughts,Clasped in a
suffocating daze, conflicted I am caught,Grey clouds
dart hurriedly, echoing across my view,Somewhere in
my untapped vision, I believe Heaven ensues,Dampened
eyes in the rain I am cloaked, as unfinished tears graze my cheeks,Weightless,
through memories I sift, for the sense of you I seek,A numbing
stillness that speaks only of you, eternally transfixed in your grace,Memorizing
your laughter, your gentle words, your fading loving embrace,The rain
and this one I wrote this morning
splinters across my window.YEARS
Soft edges flow indistinctly around my face,
The gentle lines of many years that cannot be erased,
Curves subtly transform the once lean lines of my youth,
Wisdom etched into every pore, my weary soul does it soothe,
Numerous scars creased into my flawless skin,
Of pivotal moments I had to draw from within,
Inner beauty unshaken, still speaks in spite of challenging
years,Through all the echoed happiness and all the saddest of tears,
The years flow irretrievably and yet I fail to see,
I am graciously still

Well all my stock of pot holders and hand towels have gone to new homes. When the weather warms up i get back into the sewing area. At the moment I’m back to crocheting the hand towels. Had to spend a fortune to get some new crochet hooks with comfy grips now At least I am not dropping the hooks below is my latest getting them done over 2 sittings. The order’s from the family are coming in And i was trying to get them done for gifts for work colleagues for Christmas this year

I found this cool booklet on knitting shawls (tho some almost look like they could be crocheted....) see if any take your fancy?? Even if I can't do it myself, I can appreciate the beauty in the finished product!
