WOW!! This Facebook video is just AMAZING!
Has anyone tried THIS method of needle stitch embroidery? It is amazing the details that can be produced from such large stitches!

I've been painting lots but keep forgetting to share. Here is one that I've entered into the Bluethumb art competition. Don't expect it to get chosen, but why not?!

Ahoy everyone, it's been a while! always so many great things to see here, very talented people!
I've continued to enjoy my writings, it soothes my soul Thought I'd share a couple with you all..
LOSTThe indelible air wafts past me, dancing in melody,
invisibly in time.Calm, peaceful, I find my ground, remembering inward I
breathe the intrepid possibilities of life,Erasing the past, letting go of thoughts that no longer
serve,Entwined in the ambiguous silence, my course unknown,
Valuable ethereal vibrations, in the pursuit of purpose,
Of something that ignites my soul, in a way giving beyond
all worth. For the sacrifice and gain of immeasurable humility.
I wander unknowingly wedged in the tide, hauled and
distanced from all that has meaning,Losing grasp, pulled further with the current, lost, numb
with escaped thoughts,I pray, in the discreet displaced noise with the inexhaustible
sound screaming in my ears,Craving the impeccable clarity in each passing moment,
Labored with the thought of, if only..
The path to travel masked in confusion, as I hesitate, my desire
for belonging,Propelled forward anchor-less, my inner truth clambers to
breathe,Trust in something unseen, faith in the implausible, as I am
delivered on my incredulous path.A feeling, a surety, a doubtless comforting peace…..knowing I

Hello everyone
Are there any clever cross stitch ladies in the forum?1 -
I bet there is, @gumnut ... I reckon @Annie C & @kmakm for a start ... my sister used to do it ... I tried it for 5mins on a plane to the UK in 1977 ... and it ended up in the bin! LOL

I am an avid, passionate Patchwork and Quilter to the exclusion to just about anything else - except the consumption of red wine and chocolate! This lovely "Then and Now Sewing Advice" popped up on one of my Quilting Forums. I had to share. I do hope that it will raise a smile and brighten the day of other Quilters on the BCNA site.8
