I’m new to this group. I’m 43 years old and today I was told I have ER, PR negative, HER2 positive metastatic breast cancer. I have mets in lymph nodes, bones and liver. No symptoms- only had a mammogram as my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 months ago. I’m married with an 8 year old son and 11 year old daughter. It…

Both ER+ and HER2+
Wondering if anyone also has this combo. Mine is in the left breast and feeling like I got the short straw as there will be so many treatments, noting more as each responds differently. Please only respond if you have this combo as its fairly new, I'm very fragile and not doing well with people offering their empathy when…

I noticed it in a…

Exciting research showing possible 'on/off' switch for Mets
Exciting research being done on an 'on/off' switch for BC Mets - let's hope this one makes it thru the trial stages. Given this study has produced results from a mouse model, the timeline for introduction at the clinical level for *successfully* approved drugs and testing is closer to 12-15 years. It should be noted that…
