upper back and neck pain
Hi, I had a mastectomy 5 weeks ago folllowed by axial clearance 2 weeks ago. I have had one lot of chemo. The last 4 nights I have been unable to sleep because of this ache next to my shoulder blade on the mastectomy side. The pain extends up my lumbar muscles to my neck. Could it be Lymphoedema
Over the past month I’ve had pain on the left rib cage near where I had a lumpectomy with sentinel node biopsy and radiology treatment. There doesn’t appear to be any swelling but it hurts when in inhale but not exhale. It’s probably just muscular but It really hurts when I sneeze. I’ve had a chest X-ray and all clear and…

Who’s heard of Kinetic Physiology to control pain?
I think we can all relate to ‘Gary’s’ story .... our pain levels not necessarily being 'believed' or told to 'put up with it.' https://kineticmedicine.com.au/kinetic-medicine-blog/2020/2/1/garys-story I have not tried this - but if you have - let us know how you go. (I am currently not in that much pain, due to my oils!)

The drain hole sites are still very sore and the top of my rib cage and chest area. I told the visiting nurses and they said it’ll probably be…

Trying to cope day to day
the past few weeks have been a true roller coaster for me. I have found in the past few days, my emotions have hit a low with crying, a sense of anger at the unknown of what lays ahead and last night was particularly bad - I told my husband that I was truly afraid that I might not survive and what if this period of time…

Lymph node removal site tender
Hi ladies, Just wondering if the tenderness I am having at the site of my lymph node removal is normal. I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node removal done on 24/2/20 and until the weekend just gone have had no pain or tenderness. But over the weekend and today my lymph node wound feels quite tender and I'm just wondering if…
