    Dear @Patchworkmum, I'm sure sure your friend will love her basket. I can imagine tears and hugs and laughs. Good on you and your friends.

    Maybe a teddy bear.. I know it sounds silly but I borrowed one of my little boys..i found it helpful to have something to cuddle and talk too that didn't talk back..crazy and childish maybe that's why it helped..he gets to wear my hats and bandanas too!

    Oh a teddy was the first gift I received from a very caring supportive work colleague.

    A soft stuff toy , amazing what squeezing and crying into it can do , just like a favourite blanky as a child.
