    @Blossom1961 We have the exchange student to thank for that. Normally at this point in the school holidays I'd be hunkered down at home going crazy trying to get kids off computer screens...

    We did a lot of standing stones. These are at Callanish (or Calanais) on Lewis, Outer Hebrides. Not quite Stonehenge but definitely as imposing as Avebury. 5000 years old.

    Fantastic.  Would love to have gotten there.  I have always wanted to see Skara Brae in the Orkneys too.
