Night Howls

First night on melatonin last night. Early night, but awake again by 6.30am. Feel a bit fuzzy1

@Vangirl I’m only on the 2mg so don’t have any fuzziness. Still wake up but able to get back to sleep reasonably quickly. This has been my first week on it.0

@Kiwi Angel 6.30 is okay for me. I will stay in bed and futz around on Facebook etc for a while, then put the heating on, or wait for a hot flush, and get up.2

@Vangirl I get most of my hot flushes during the night when I’m trying to sleep and maybe a coupl during the day. Normally get a good one when I am drifting off to sleep and then another one which wakes me up. Enjoy your sleep in. I’m treating myself to brekkie before the shrink.0

@Kiwi Angel mostly mine are daytime or evening, but I think I can feel one coming right now
Handy for leveraging a person out of bed on a Melbourne winter's morn!1 -
@Kiwi Angel @Vangirl I get most of mine in the early evening between 5-8, then a couple at night. I am going to start a FLUSH LOG today (sounds a bit like toilet humor) and record them properly, not just go from memory.2

I hate the middle of the night ones - wake up in a pool of sweat - it’s gross!! @JJ70 flush log0

BTW Melbournians, can you see that strange glowing thing in the sky? What is that?!0

Some nights I think it's a waste of time going to bed. Hot flushes and bone aches all night. Got up this morning and it still feels like I have been in a fight with punches to my back. Panadol breakfast of champions!0

Had a blessed good sleep from a bit after midnight to 7:30 am! I'd been very pleased because I've not had a nosebleed for six days (having stopped chemo 3.5 weeks ago) but this morning when I got up the crimson deluge started and still hasn't stopped - damn!0

My boss years ago used to have a lot of nose bleeds until he figured out to use a wet finger in the bathroom and sniff up the moisture. He did it every day and hardly ever had a nosebleed again. Keep those membranes moist.0
