@zoffiel - I have to admit to dropping into the forest if needed - I didn't even get enough warning for that yesterday.

Sometimes, on one of my multiple awakenings every bloody night, I forget for a brief second that I'm having yet another ferocious hot flush, and think that I've got a fever.

Okay - not really funny @kmakm but it could be a benefit of the chemo brain.

Gorgeous. I don't know how you do it @Sister, getting out of bed and walking so early everyday. Amazing. I'm still in bed now at nine am...

TOO BLOODY COLD FOR ME to be up at that time of day!  Plus I was awake from 3am-6.30am and only then fell asleep again!    grrrrr

I Got up just before 9am, like @kmakm

Similar here @arpie. Awake from 0430 to 0700... The day is wrecked before it's even started.

Three weeks ago I told my oncologist about my ongoing sleep issues. She looked sympathetic, said I needed a good anaesthetic and laughed. That was it. I remain surprised by the breast cancer medical community's lack of care and concern about the sleep issues so many of us seem to have through diagnosis and treatment.

She's leaving private practice so I have to get a new onc. Might be a good thing.

I was telling my surgeon @kmakm about the sleep disturbances relating to the tamoxifen - she said she has many patients tell her this and I can only hope it will even out. Luckily I never had a poop incident during chemo - there was only on day I was concerned about it and spent a lot of time of the loo.

Everyone keeps saying to get walking but currently I’m in fear of being anymore than a 30 second sprint of a toilet. I reckon if I could walk to the corner and back without incident it would be a good thing

Can you walk round your back garden for 20 minutes @Sarnicad?

@kmakm it’s a thought but the trip hazards ie dogs could be a problem
