@kmakm sounds like a good idea - take the new foobs for a spin. How is the swelling going?  U might have to go lingerie shopping when it’s all gone down. U will have more options now.

Swelling has noticeably subsided this week. My PS won't touch them for at least six months so I'm expecting quite a lot of change in that time.

So looking forward to lingerie shopping! Having smaller chesticles is going to open up my choice of lingerie massively. I'm looking forward to having some pretty undergarments.

Honey birdette has some regular 50% off sales and they have some pretty, sexy stuff. That’s one thing sadly I’m not doing anymore with my 1 boob and I have so much pretty underwear. Maybe when/if I get reconstruction.

@Kiwi Angel Never heard of them. Will have a look, thanks for the tip. Initially I'll go to a specialist post-breast surgery bra fitter. There's a woman in Port Melbourne who comes highly recommended. I'm really curious to know what my size will end up being!

When you're ready to think about a recon make sure you join the Choosing Breast Reconstruction group here. It's really good. K xox

@kmakm I have joined but will know more what questions to ask when I go see a surgeon and know what my options are.

Lots of tears today. Cleansing. My daughter went home yesterday. She is so vibrant and full of life. On the good side pain is tolerable as long as I don't bend over. Grab my boob to hold in place when I do. Now to get through to Wednesday and my post op app with surgeon. It's only a week after surgery so not sure if path will be available by then. He has to remove the stitches from where they removed the implanon rod. Hope all of you beautiful sistas had a good day. Xxxx

    @TabooGal
Well done, girl - tears are allowed - matter of fact - pretty well mandatory, I reckon!  It is all about 'letting it out'!!  Holding it 'in' doesn't help you at all!!

Keep doing as much as you can (within limits!!)   You'll know when to back off!

Be prepared for silly things to cause you grief .... I dropped my bundle a few times over various things ..... but that is OK!  There are often small bumps on the road we have to take!

hahah - talking about roads - I've just remembered - I was grabbing my boob for 4-6 weeks after surgery every time I was in the car & saw a bumpy bit ahead ...... I grew to know where all the bumpy bits were on Forster roads & was then 'pre-grabbing' the boob!  LOL

Take care & I hope your recovery continues to go well.   My surgeon put me onto Kelocote for scar reduction - it has worked brilliantly on me!!

Hope you are having a great weekend!!

(My brother actually suggested I  take a series of pics of my boob, before & after surgery ...... I need to do some more recent ones now too!!)

I was a boob clutcher too! Especially unloading the dishwasher!! Lots of tears as well. As @arpie says, cleansing. Let them flow.

Good luck with your patholgy. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Your daughter sounds like an absolute treasure, like mine  :)  K xox

    Hello @TabooGal
Good to hear that you are recovering post your surgery.  I second all the great advice that our members have provided, its ok to have a down day, the 'tears' just need to flow sometimes.  Hoping that you have good pathology results this coming week.  I have attached our Fact sheet which will help in understanding your pathology results.  You can ask for a copy of the report and its a good idea to take someone with you to the appointment.  All the best

@Giovanna_BCNA Thank you so much for that
My appointment is Wed which is only 8 days post surgery. I had an implanon rod removed at the same time so I imagine he is getting me in early to remove stitches. My BCN promised she would attend appointment with me. My anxiety is so high at the moment that I find myself trembling like a washing machine on the spin cycle. ;-p I will definately ask for copies of reports. Xxx
