Well done @JJ70! You and @AllyJay sure do lead the pack for productivity in the wee small hours  o:)  I've written a few cancer poems during some sleepless nights, but in the light of day they're frightful!! Still, they do get a bit of the shitty stuff out of my head so I suppose that's something.

@kmakm I find downloading on paper what’s buzzing around my mind helps clear my head and provides reassurance that it will be there in the morning so I can relax and hopefully sleep. Its a good strategy- used it the other night when chewing over how to explain a maths concept to my son. Re getting shitty stuff out you don’t have to keep or reread it - it allows venting without downloading on anyone else - either because no one else is around or would serve no positive purpose .

While going through chemo we lived in a house with a combustion heater so I would write my thoughts while the night time sleeplessness was upon then promptly burn it the next day....

Totally agree @Romla. Good to get it out. Also, kudos for being able to explain maths concepts!

They're buried on my phone somewhere @SoldierCrab. In a file called Bad Cancer Poems! I'll delete when I'm ready to let go and move past this... experience.

    Hang in there @Sister.

It hurts for me to use my fingers now, including typing on a touch screen  :/  I'm using a haptic pen.  Plus I'm in bed about to snooze because I cannot keep my eyes open. Can't sleep at night, can't stay awake during the day!  :s

All you girls will get passed this stage and you will have compassion for the newbies who will start to go through it .....

I can’t sleep tonight - don’t know if it is the dex or anxiety about my first treatment tomorrow
