Easy as, today. And so much shorter without the cold caps. Starting to feel very tired and a bit erky, though so I think the drugs are wearing off.1

Great job Sister That AC is a badass! Did awful things to my digestive system. Myskin has never felt so soft! Without the hair.....feels softer.
Hair loss...well I just have to laugh.....how about when you lose all the hairs in your nostrils and you don't get that pre-warning feeling that your nose is running and yo need a tissue. I'll just walk arond with snot on my upper lip - thanks chemo!
My eyelashes started falling out about a week ago. (After 4 AC and 3rd paclitaxel) Bottom ones almost gone (eye liner doesn't stay on for long without them I have found...I now carry mine around with me. Eyeliner has always been my 'go to' cosmetic to make me feel good. Top lashes now very much thinned out....won't need mascara soon. Still have my eyebrows...fingers crossed...although have had the feather brow tattoing done.
Sorry I have been absent from this chat for most of this week. I have been busy trying to feel NOT like a cancer patient......AND I have been sleeping beautifully.
Here comes my last round of Paclitaxel today and my last round EVER of CHEMO. I am ringing that bell today and I am going to sing a bit of an Ode to Chemo as I do it with a few lines from Pat Benetar's HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT!
"Well you're a real tough cookie with a long history
Of breaking little hearts like the one in me.
That's OK, let's see how you do it.
Put up your dukes let's get down to it.
Hit me with your best shot
Why don't yo hit me with your best shot.
Hit me with your best shot - fire away!!"6 -
